AL-FURQAN SCHOOLS

Al-Furqan is a registered welfare organization. A pilot project was started in August 2012, at a small house in P.E.C.H.S. with just 16 children and 2 teachers. This branch now caters to over 100 children who commute from underprivileged areas close to the school.

Currently they have 12 branches which cater to over 1500 students hailing from various areas of Karachi such as Shirin Jinnah Colony, P.E.C.H.S., Bhittai Colony, Azambasti, Peer Bukhari, Chanesar Goth, Gulistan e Jauhar and Gizri to name a few.

The schools currently employ over 100 teachers and 25 support staff. In addition, more than 30 members of the organization volunteer their time and effort for this cause.

The schools aim to provide quality education and maintain a standard that is expected from their organization. Each branch follows a standard well-planned curriculum which is approved by an academic team and is in consonance with the national educational curriculum.

Every branch is allowed to choose their own uniform, but the logo remains the same for all branches. Through donations made to the organization, each student is provided with our text books, note books, stationary, uniforms and shoes free of cost. Some schools also receive donations for occasional meals and clothing for the children, particularly during the month of Ramadan.

Al Furqan Schools Network aims to impart education in an effective manner, inspiring the students and bringing out their individual talents and collective potentials to the best of their abilities.
