About Us

Hyderabad Foundation USA, Inc (HFUSA) is a non-profit tax exempt corporation registered in Delaware, USA. It is registered as a public charity with IRS under Section 501(c)(3)and your donations are eligible for tax exemption in the USA. Its vision is to develop and support healthcare facilities, educational institutions, promote research and development, work towards alleviation of poverty and sustain activities, events and programs to assist the people of South Asia in particular or any other under developed regions of the world with a special emphasis on people whose origin was from the State of Hyderabad without regard to their religion or gender.

HFUSA has its headquarters presently in Ashburn, Virginia, USA. Its members are primarily professionals of Hyderabadi origin, who are citizens or residents of USA.

The primary objectives of HFUSA are as follows:

  1. facilitate, encourage and assist the development and support of facilities in South Asia and other under developed countries of the world for
  • healthcare
  • educational institutions
  • alleviation of poverty
  • disaster relief
  1. sustain activities, events and programs to assist the people of South Asia in particular or any other under developed regions of the world with a special emphasis on people whose origin was from the State of Hyderabad without regard to their religion or gender,
  2. application of best practices in distributing humanitarian aid in any country of the world that is afflicted with natural or other disasters;
  3. promote research on the history and culture of the State of Hyderabad and the South Asian sub-continent.
  4. publish newsletters about the Corporation activities, books, magazines, brochures and other print material about the history and culture of the State of Hyderabad and the South Asian sub-continent.
  5. engage in a dialogue among US and international governments and non governmental organizations (NGOs) to promote shared values of freedom, democracy, tolerance and respect for human rights.
  6. work with other NGOs, hospitals, educational institutions and other organizations in North America, Europe, South Asia and other parts of the world which have common interests with the Corporation through mutual programs and funding support.
